Dianna ‘Snow Eagle Seeds Sing’ Henry has been a life-long organic gardener and since the ’80s an avid seed saver and spiritual gardener. As a Sacred Corn Carrier, Dianna shares the wisdom of corn for healing and nurturing the body and soul.
“Corn is flowing, flowing, into the hands of many. The corn that is coming is more of a healing tool than we have thought of in the recent past.

We’ve had to reinvent the sacredness of our corn – that it is not only healing for our bodies but healing our souls. That healing comes from nutrition and also life forms, spirit force, that quality of the seed that we have almost forgotten. Without the seed we have no food like what we know to nurture and heal.

The corn is not only a vehicle for us to get here (on this and many planets) but is also a vehicle to feed our bodies once we are here! In that same light, it is a tool now to enhance the body’s changes in the new wavelengths we are experiencing.”

We have re- set the Goddess Festival date to August, Saturday 18th and Sunday19th.
Friday 17th is a new moon and we will hold a new moon ceremony and open up the festival. We wish to invite you all, lords and ladies, the divine feminine and the divine masculine. We are inviting musicians, singers, poets, writers, artists, leaders for drumming, leaders for ceremonies, workshops, classes, vendors to come forward and share at the festival. 

We are in the process of setting up workshops and classes, teachers and vendors, if you are interested in participating please contact me through facebook, or email or call me. Either way will work. 

This event is a great opportunity to celebrate the divine goddess and let her shine in a circle of divine sisters. We also wish to bring in the divine masculine energy to give the event balance. I am calling for lords and ladies to step forward and celebrate.

Held at the Green Tara Healing Arts Center
5300 Alma Highway, Van Buren ARIron courses through our blood, dwells in the earth, and is found even in the belly of stars. The Iron Pentacle, created by Victor and Cora Anderson, helps us reclaim our energies of sex, pride, self, power, and passion. The iron pentacle has been said to be our birthright. These energies, when balanced and whole, help us step more fully into our power. In this two hour class we will explore these points through discussion, writing exercises, and energy work. 

 Please bring a journal and a cushion to sit on. 

 The cost for the class is sliding scale $10, $15, or $20, whichever you can afford. 

 Starr Austin spends her time writing, studying spirituality, and doing transgender advocacy. An Ozark witch, Starr believes we are connected to the land and bring a flavor of it forward in our personal work. Her work centers around self-possession, warrior work, sacred sexuality, and helping others recognize and greet their own divinity. This work is imbued by ecstatic ritual, deep knowing, and embracing paradox. All set in the powerful container of Love. Currently a student of T. Thorn Coyle, Starr’s practice is influenced by the work of Morning Star, Feri, Reclaiming, and Diana’s Grove.

Celebrate the Springs!

Celebrate the Springs! on June 8, 9, and 10 will feature a Friday night kick-off at Keels Creek Winery. Saturday activities include a processional with springs blessings, educational exhibits, live entertainment including John Two-Hawks, children’s hands-on activities including create a shrine, geocaching, 2nd Saturday Gallery stroll with springs theme, and evening drumming with Angelo. Sunday events include a geocache meet and greet and all day geocaching as well as a springs walk with naturalist/photographer Chris Fischer and geologist, Jim Helwig. Sponsored by the Springs Committee of Eureka Springs Parks and Recreation, with financial assistance from CAPC, Ozarks Water Watch and the Eureka Springs Preservation Society, this is a weekend you won’t want to miss! Dolores Cannon

Dolores Cannon, pioneering hypnotherapist, inventor of Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy (QHHT) and author was born in St. Louis, Missouri, USA in 1931 where she lived and grew up with her family until completing her academic studies.
She married her husband Johnny in 1951, a career US Naval man with whom she spent the next 21 years travelling all over the world for his various overseas assignments. Together they raised their family and Dolores was a typical navy wife throughout the 1950’s and 1960’s. Dolores and Johnny also began to use hypnotherapy in the 1960’s and from there Dolores developed her own unique Method designed to take people into the deepest possible levels of hypnosis, called the Somnambulistic state. Hope you can put these events on your calendar. And last week we decided to extend the Tuesday 4 p.m. Protests to 6 p.m. No one need come the entire time. Drop in and out as you like. But this way some people who work until 5 p.m. can participate. We also discussed possibly having a potluck afterwards, but I don’t know if that idea got traction. Our youngest Occupier Isis thinks that would be a good way to get more people to stop.

The year 2011 saw the Arab Spring and in 2012, it is the 99% Spring in the U.S. Please join us at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, for a free training event patterned in solidarity with similar 99% events across the country. It is time for take the next steps to restore democracy and income equality in the U.S. at a time when the one percent richest Americans own 42 percent of the wealth in the U.S. This event open to the public is sponsored by Occupy Eureka Springs. It will be held at a private home at 4 Commerce St. behind Brighton Ridge Nursing Home. To register, call 244-5410.

The Carroll Boone Water District board will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 19, at their plant headquarters at Beaver Lake to discuss whether to institute fluoridation of our water system even though grant funds that were supposed to be available to pay for the fluoridation mandate have fallen far short. Please consider attending the meeting or contacting members of the board to ask them to delay implementation of this mandate at least until full grant funds are available. Continue reading →

NO DRUMMING IN THE PARK TONIGHT. Drumming will be next weekend April 14. Drumming is Back in Force with Angelo! 
 
We will be drumming in Basin Spring Park & Collaborating with the Creative Energy Project. Come at 6PM to paint yourself in glow paint or tape yourself in glow tape and then Jeremy McGraw will capture the whole thing as you drum into the night!
