ALERT! HOW TO HELP THE TREES.

ALERT! HOW TO HELP THE TREES. Hurricane Sandy is coming to the East Coast, USA
If you are inclined to talk with trees–and aside from the practical things you can do–here is another way you can help your trees through the storm: Hurricane Sandy. (Or send help, if you are elsewhere.)

Go outside and walk among your trees and plants on your property. You may also touch them.
In your heart, say the following phrases to all your trees and plants.
(If you are elsewhere, ask your trees to send these wishes to the trees on East Coast USA.)
I care for you. There is a big storm coming.
Roots, please grip soil and earth with all your might.
Trunk, branches, and stems, please be supple and bend like a dancer.
Leaves, please drop if you can, or become slippery and turn on edge so the wind-driven rain slips past you or any snow slips off.
Community of Green Beings, please tighten your web of connections.
Ecosystem, please become connected and interconnected.
Element of Earth, please hold roots tight.
Element of Air, please caress, not assault.
Element of Water, please flow smoothly over.
Element of Fire, please give strength to the whole.
Spirit of the Land, please meet the Spirit of the Storm with serenity.
Please do this more than once in the coming days, if you can.

When the storm arrives, see to your own well-being first. Continue to send these messages to your trees, even from inside the house or from afar.

Ozark Holistic Arts Group

We have a new circle that has formed this year – Ozark Holistic Arts Group.  We gather in community at different locations monthly to get to know each other and share our modalities, our interests and network our practices.  Would love to see the circle extend to Eureka and beyond!  The last meeting was held at Full Circle Healing Center in Mountain View.  The August meeting will be held at my new massage office location, Creative Space, on the Yellville Square, and I would be honored to have any of my new sisters who work in any form of healing arts attend.

August Meeting and Potluck at Creative Space  – Facebook link (no need to join facebook event to attend)

  • August 25th Saturday
  • 5:30pm until 8:30pm

Casual meet and greet and potluck at Creative Space on the Yellville Square! My office is in the Baker Company building on Old Main St on the south side of the square. We’ve moved the event to Saturday to make it easier for those coming from out of town to attend. Yellville also hosts “Music on The Square” every Saturday night from 7:00 – 9:00 pm which will be right outside my door. Plan to stay and enjoy the free music event after the meeting if you like. The Yellville Farmers Market will also be set up on the square that evening!

Women’s Full Moon Gathering

The next Women’s Full Moon Gathering will be this coming Wednesday, August 1st, at 7:00 p.m., at the home of Teressa Rose Ezell. The moon will be full at 8:27 p.m., while we’re dancing and drumming together — which makes this a super special Full Moon Gathering!

This month’s gathering will honor the 8th Clan Mother, “She Who Heals.” Bring a potluck snack if you wish, and come prepared to share, dance, sing, drum, or just sit and enjoy the amazing full moon energy!
Directions: Follow Mill Hollow until it becomes dirt road. Take the first left (just before a large blue mailbox) and follow the stone cairns up the hill. Take the only left turn (disregarding the small driveway near the bottom), and follow until you reach the brick house on the left right before the drive ends. Someone will probably be directing parking as you near the house. Please help spread the word! For more information or for clarification of directions, call Teressa at 479-981-4110.
