I have worked in the healthcare field since 1998. I started as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and completed my Licensed Practical Nurse in 2003 from North Arkansas College. I received Outstanding Student of the year for 2003 from the nursing department at North Arkansas College and the Action Award in 2004. I then went on to receive my Associate degree as a Registered Nurse in 2006, which was also obtained from North Arkansas College. I received my Holistic Health Practitioner certification in 2011. My main focus is on a holistic healing of the mind, body and spirit.
I have been interested in and studying holistic and alternative healing for several years. I am trained as a Reiki Master and as a Healing Touch Level 4 Apprentice. I am a Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist, Life Coach, Holistic Interfaith Minister and Tai Chi instructor. I am also certified in Crystal Healing Stone Therapy and the Raindrop Technique. I practice healthy alternatives in living by working with plants, herbs, essential oils, exercise and nutrition to assist with a healthy lifestyle and to combat many of the dis-eases affecting us without the use of Pharm-America.
I am a sacred pipe carrier in the Native American tradition. I live through the spirituality of my Lakota and Oglala Sioux ancestors. I practice sustainable living and organically grow as much as possible of our fruits, vegetables, and herbs. I harvest many plants and herbs in the wild and with them make many of my healing tinctures and salves.
I am a member of the HTPA (Healing Touch Practitioner Association); NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association); IARP (International Association of Reiki Professionals); ATCQA (American Tai Chi and Qi Gong Association); IADP (International Association of Drugless Practitioners); Holistic Chamber of Commerce.
I believe in the consiousness of all things and that we should have respect for all our relations, whether it walks, flies, swims, crawls, grows, exists or just is.
