The Sufi Healing Order

The Sufi Healing Order is an international network of people with a focus on healing. A commitment to healing includes one’s own personal healing and involves ongoing purification and clarity of intention. By making this immense body of esoteric information about healing available through seminars and workshops, the Sufi Healing Order supports those who are engaged in healing work whether on their own behalf or for other people. Ongoing prayer services are held to send healing to all those who ask for their names to be included on the list. Melissa is a past Director of the Sufi Healing Order of North America. Her initiation as “Kafayat”  authorizes her to share the teachings as well as to initiate people into the Sufi Healing Order.*

Plant Spirit Medicine

What is Plant Spirit Medicine?
    Humans and plants have lived together for countless generations. We are family. Our plant relatives are generous and helpful, offering us food and medicine. Like us, plants have spirit, and their spirit can nurture and heal us. Plant Spirit Medicine brings us into balance and harmony. It is the shaman’s way with plants. A millennial practice known to all peoples, it was rediscovered in the West by Eliot Cowan, and has proved just as effective in today’s world as in times past.

   Melissa completed the training in Plant Spirit Medicine* with Eliot Cowan in 2004 and has maintained a practice ever since. She is an associate member of the Plant Sprit Medicine Association and attempts to attend the annual conferences, held at the Blue Deer Center in the Catskills of New York.
